Q Assignment Instructions • Essay length and formatting are important! Remember, your essay must be five FULL pages minimum and formatted using the Essay Template (Links to an external site.) to receive a grade above a C. Please do not change font size, margins, or line spacing. • To avoid point loss, be sure that your essay follows the guidelines in Section F. Pay close attention to the Dos and Don'ts on page F11. Standard essays that explore a topic will not receive credit, as the assignment is about analyzing how the author uses the four appeal types. Don't forget to include your works cited page after the text of your essay. • Proofreading and clarity are key. Tutoring is available on campus and via Zoom videoconference. Take advantage of it!
